Information Technology Officer [13/09/2012]
PURPOSE OF THE POSITIONS
The IT Officer is responsible for designing, installing and maintaining computer network with all its related hardware and software. He/she is also responsible for upgrading /expanding and training end users.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
A professional qualification such as MSCE or CCNA is desirable but not essential.
Proficiency in network design, maintenance and administration preferably in a Linux/Windows 2003 server environment.
Basic knowledge in Electronic Picture Arching and Communication systems (PACS) server.
Proficiency in database administration especially Oracle 10g and above including SQL/PLUS,PL/SQL is desirable.
Security of the entire network and a system for data recovery.
Knowledge in website content management.
Implement and maintain appropriate communication technologies.
Experience in a medical setting would be an added advantage.
Minimum of 5 years working experience.
